Hello! It's Blue Monday! For complete instructions, just click here.

Please leave a comment for me; I guarantee that I'll visit and leave one for you. Visit other Blue participants by clicking on their links and leaving comments. Check back to make certain that you have visited all the Blue participants. If it's too much for one day, come back later in the week.

Make someone's day when you wish them a Happy Blue Monday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although I've always lived in or near a big city, we moved to Lutz, Florida in 2009. Most people have no idea where that is, so I thought that today I'd show you. It's no big city, although it's close to several. It's an unincorporated place north of Tampa.
It's pronounced "Loots," not "Luts."
This mural with a blue sky is painted on the north wall of the "Geo-Surv" office building. On the mural, it's the brown building left of center.
Part of the movie Edward Scissorhands was filmed in Lutz and it is named in the credits.
There's plenty of blue in this ad.
A new high school was built in Lutz the same year that we moved here. It is named after George Steinbrenner, the former New York Yankees owner who lived in the area. A pretty blue sky shows here.
Steinbrenner warriors chose beautiful blue as one of their school colors.
Happy Blue Monday!
Good Morning!
The first time I went to Lutz was well over thirty years ago when we lived down that way. There was a flooring guy who was a friend of a friend who had nice flooring and let us have it at great prices. So I have good memories of Lutz, and knowing you are there's makes it even better! How appropriate that their school colors are blue!
Enjoyed the "blue" tour of your city. At least, you have pretty weather most of the time and we only get it now and then. Thank goodness, we are being blessed for a few days now. Working in my yard today.
Hi Sally, first time playing Blue Monday. Great pictures of Lutz,Florida! Never been to Florida. Except when the Navy ship I was stationed at parked in Pensacola, but I wasn't able to get off the ship. So I think that visit doesn't count :) I have heard that is beautiful state!
Hi Sally, I had a small amount of blue - a heron pattern - on a bowl I used for the narcissus. Thank you for hosting today, appreciated.
Sally, I have wanted to call you but we have been so busy. I decided quite suddenly to withdraw from posting for a while. I am sending you an email in a few minutes.
Your town may be small but it is very interesting and a wonderful place to live. I too love the mural. That area in Florida is a lovely place to retire and your new home is gorgeous in every way. I can say this because I was lucky enough to visit you in your home. Smile.
Love, Jeanne
Some great blue photos here, Sally, and a fun meme that I join when I can.
I'm assuming it's you that left a post on my blog as "Sally", although when I clicked on that profile it had no information at all on it...
Very interesting! Love how you pulled the blue theme into info on your home town!
I didn't know they made blue bulbs. I will have to look for some. My doc told me that I would probably get over my cough faster if I laughed more. So maybe if I smile more that would help to.
Wouldn't you just love to hear that after waiting in a crowded waiting room for 45min?
