Last week I told about my father's love for little ashtrays. He really did not like to use them; he much preferred his over-sized ashtray that sat right next to his comfortable easy chair. He gave me two small ashtrays, and this is the second one.
This little ceramic ashtray has a pretty Pink rose right in the center. The gold trim has been worn away in several places. There used to be a label on the back, but it's long gone.
The spots you see are not dirt; they are from wear and tear. This is an oldie, probably from the 1950s or before. It's special to me because it was given to me by my father. He was a man's man, but he loved this little, feminine, pretty ashtray. This is proof positive that Real Men like flowers too!
Happy Pink Saturday!
